March 6, 1952. I was born and Harry S Truman was president. I take after mom. I am naturally

Brother (born 11/15/1950) is quite a guy. Takes after dad. Educated, determined, accomplished, focused, no nonsense. Retired at 59. Married one daughter. Divorced, remarried, widowed, married to childhood sweetheart. Lives in Florida. Takes after Dad.

Sister (born 5/5/1954) Married. 2 sons. Divorced. 5 grandchildren. Intelligent, determined, takes no prisoners. Takes after dad.

Sister (born 1/6/1960.) (My observation…she can thank Mr. Sorrentino that she was born. That man had 9 or 10 kids and dad wanted to show that he, too, could still produce a child.) Married, divorced 2 years later. She is intelligent, ambitious. Runs her own very successful business.

Michigan is a very beautiful state with lots of nature and of course the automobile industry. it used to be the car capitol of the world but that has certainly changed. i grew up here BUT the truth is that I never grew up until only recently. I was arrogant, conceited, and good looking, and people were likely to give me chances because of that. In the end i usually threw those who tried to help me under the bus…that include family, friends, nuns, teachers, other adults. I never really tried to grow up as i was SO LAZY! I was exceptional at athletics and would do well at first and then never felt the need to try harder and achieve more. It was the same with academics…my initial efforts brought praise from teachers and that was enough for me. By some quirk of fate, here I am in Japan. I have a wonderful Japanese wife. we run our own small English teaching service. We have two daughters and three grandkids. Why am i so lucky? I have idea.

On these pages and in my podcasts, I tell stories on my journey…the good and the bad. I introduce the that life I live here in Japan. All are interesting tales
